PTPI offers grants and scholarships for it chapters and members. Even non-members may apply for some grants.

European Program Fund
Aim
The aim of the fund is to promote PTPI chapters and members in Europe.
Applicants
Dues paying chapters chartered by PTPI and members in Europe can apply. Examples of support: Chapters: Own programs, programs with other chapters or other organisation. New ideas for programs are encouraged. Individuals: Participation in PTPI Worldwide Conference, regional events and participation in new and innovative projects. Programs and participation should promote PTPE and its local chapters. Example of programs that are not supported: studies and direct travel support.
Deadline
There is no deadline, but applications should be made at least one month prior to the program.

PTPI Matching Grant
Aim
Chapter Grants are intended to financially assist chapters as they plan and carry out programs. PTPI strives to assist the largest number of chapters the budget will allow. PTPI offer two types of grants:
1. Chapter Grant of $250.00
2. Chapter Matching Grant– PTPI will match chapter funds, up to $1000.
Examples of programs that may receive chapter grants includes but are not limited to:
- Local community events;
- Chapter fundraisers;
- Networking with other organizations;
- Exchanges through the International Visitors Program;
- Assisting students who wish to participate in the Global Youth Forum;
- Global Youth Service Day projects;
- Cultural programs;
- Humanitarian programs;
- Chapter liability insurance.
Applicants
Only applications from PTPI chapters in good standing (membership dues are current) that have been established for at least one year will be considered.
Deadline
Grants are awarded on a quarterly basis with application deadlines on March 15, June 15, September 15 and December 15. Applications (completed application and program budget) need to be submitted at least three months in advance. Applicants will be notified by the last day of each quarter.

Joyce C. Hall College Scholarship
Aim
The scholarship aims to cover school and college costs. There are five scholarships of each $2,000.00.
Applicants
Applicants must have had experience with People to People International through participation in one of our various programs, such as the Student Ambassador Program, student or community chapter activities, School and Classroom Program, Global Youth Forum, etc. Applicants must be a current member of People to People International. The applicant must currently be a high school senior or a full-time college or university student and must maintain a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. International students are encouraged to apply.

The Fund for American Studies Program Scholarship
Aim
The spring of 2002, People to People International (PTPI) forged a relationship with The Fund for American Studies (TFAS). The goals of TFAS’s programs, American Institute on Political and Economic Systems, Prague; International Institute for Political and Economic Studies, Greece; and Asia Institute for Political Economy, Hong Kong; are very similar to the mission of PTPI. We invite qualified registrants of TFAS to apply for a PTPI scholarship.
The scholarships are $500.00 each and up to four (4) will be selected annually. Each award will be sent to the scholarship winner. Acceptance to TFAS Program will be confirmed before any funds are processed.
Applicants
Membership and participation in a People to People International Chapter is preferred.
The applicant must have applied and been accepted to a Fund for American Studies Program when they apply for the scholarship. Scholarships will not be finalized until proof of program acceptance is received at PTPI World Headquarters.
The scholarship is available for the following programs (Stand November 2009):
- American Institute on Political and Economic Systems, Prague;
- International Institute for Political and Economic Studies, Greece;
- Asia Institute for Political Economy, Hong Kong.

James & Eunice Doty PTP/Congressional Award Scholarship
Aim
In 1986, People to People International established the James and Eunice Doty/People to People International /Congressional Award Scholarship Fund in cooperation with the Congressional Award Leadership Commission. At the end of each calendar year, scholarships are awarded to four high school students (college students are not eligible) who have earned the Congressional Award that year.
Applicants
Students are eligible to apply for the 2010 scholarship if they earn and receive the Congressional Award prior to October 15, 2009.
To be eligible for the 2010 Scholarship, applicants must:
- have earned the 2009 Congressional Award (bronze, silver, or gold);
- be at least 16 years of age and not older than 18 at time of travel;
- currently be a high school student or a 2010 graduating senior;
- be in good academic standing;
- demonstrate maturity and well-rounded interests; and
- demonstrate financial need.
Applicants who have already been awarded the James and Eunice Doty People to People International /Congressional Award Scholarship are unable to reapply. You may only receive the scholarship one time and the scholarship is not renewable or transferable. You must use the scholarship during the calendar year specified or it will be deemed invalid. Employees, Officers, Trustees and Directors of People to People International and their respective families are not eligible to apply for the James and Eunice Doty PTPI/Congressional Award Scholarship.
